Route Map
Please find a map of the route detailing parking, water stops, and mileage, click on the button above to see the route or download a printable version. We had to revise the route recently, due to construction in the King William district, but the new route is fantastic and will be a beautiful run - including 3/4 of a mile on the River Walk.

Parking
The address for our event is 646 S. Main Avenue, San Antonio, TX 78204. Please park in the H-E-B Arsenal parking lot. This is located just east of Main Avenue on Cesar Chavez (Durango). We will have parking signs and volunteers waving you down as well. Please note that Main Avenue will be closing at 6:30 AM, so we highly suggest to come in on Cesar Chavez.
Registration & Packet Pickup/Will Call
For those of you who have not picked up their packets yet or have an additional person to register, please come through the H-E-B parking lot (towards the building) to the courtyard. We will be able to take care of everything there for you.
Start Line/Finish Line
The Start Line and Finish Line are on Main Avenue, just south of registration. Please note that due to the route changing, we will need to start the race in waves this year. We will have mile times up, starting with a 7-minute mile and increasing in time. Please find the sign that best fits your average mile. Walkers and those going slower, please find a place towards the back. Competitive runners, please find a place towards the front! We welcome everyone at the Great Turkey Challenge and thank you for being considerate of those around you.
Water Stops, End of Race, and Other Details
Water stops will be located near the 1 mile and 2 mile markers as indicated on the map. We will have water, quench, and fruit at the Commander's House at the end of the race (across from registration). The First Aid area, real-time updates on run times, and medal ceremony will be located the Commander's House as well. Dog water bowls will be locate at water stops and at the Commander's House and we will also have dog waste bags (and a few treats) available as well.
Thank You
Again, thank you. You are helping us put food on table of those in need in our community – and on a very special day. We look forward to spending the morning with you!
